Hidden Springs Sim Dump Part 1

Of course while I was in Hidden Springs, I couldn’t possibly leave the premades alone, so here are some edits for you to enjoy.

Best friends Nicholas, Jessica, and Cassidy enjoy living a sustainable, self-sufficient lifestyle. Nicholas gardens and cooks, Willow fishes, paints, and plays the guitar, and Cassidy fixes things about the house and collects rocks, seeds, and bugs. Nicholas’ traits are Good Sense of Humour, Loves the Outdoors, Natural Cook, Vegetarian, Green Thumb, and Eco-Friendly; Jessica’s are Clumsy, Virtuoso, Inappropriate, Artistic, Angler, and Loves the Outdoors; Cassidy’s are Loves the Outdoors, Handy, Athletic, Charismatic, Mooch, and Collector. Download them here.

Game developer Jennifer and her scientist boyfriend Liam have just moved in together and are having lots of fun trading trivia, watching romantic movies, and playing long games of chess.  Jennifer’s traits are Couch Potato, Handy, Hopeless Romantic, Perfectionist, Genius, and Clumsy; Liam’s are Hopeless Romantic, Genius, Clumsy, Genius, Never Nude, and Good. Download them here.

Peter and Adele moved to Hidden Springs with the hope of curing their son Charles’ illness, and are delighted to see his condition improve each day. What they didn’t count on was what the magical healing waters would do for their fertility. Adele, soon to be entering her elder years, had given up on her lifetime wish of having a large family, but just a week after their arrival in the town she gave birth to quadruplets –  Logan, Justin, Ernest, and Amelia. Peter’s traits are Workaholic, Computer Whiz, Charismatic, Handy, and Clumsy; Adele’s are Neurotic, Vegetarian, Family-Orientated, Green Thumb, and Friendly; Charles’ are Loner, Bookworm, Excitable, and Ambitious; Logan’s are Couch Potato and Heavy Sleeper; Justin’s are Excitable and Easily Impressed; Ernest’s are Loves the Outdoors and Clumsy; Amelia’s are Loner and Easily Impressed. Download them here.

  1. Hidden Springs has always been my least-favourite world. I downloaded it and have hardly played it, I love the idea of an alpine world – certainly the hills, tress and lakes are beautiful, and I quite like the log cabins, but I just can’t get past all the concrete in the town centre! I always have grand ideas about re-making it, like you’re doing with Barnacle Bay, but I don’t have the vision or the attention-span!
What you’ve done with the pre-made Sims is simply gorgeous. As always, they still retain their own personalities and uniqueness, but they’re unmistakably a GC make-over: better-looking, more detailed and realistic 🙂

  2. Thanks for the link to Anette’s thread, I hadn’t seen it before and there are some beautiful lots there. I’m always more focused on gameplay than building and I get a little impatient when I want to start a game and I have a lot of remodeling to do before I’m happy with the World.
What is really great is that everyone who plays will have different ideas and expectations for each of the Worlds – I really enjoy seeing how other Simmers play different Worlds, and it can sometimes make me think differently about things and inspire me to try different things in my game. This is definitely what’s happening here with Hidden Springs – those lovely photos of Mariasha there in the snow have me hankering to start a new game with some artsy Sims; maybe an artist/photographer who would enjoy the beautiful landscapes, and a writer who could shut themselves up in a log cabin with a wood-burner and put the world to rights, Mikael Blomkvist style 🙂
Great builders like yourself allow me to tailor EP and Store Worlds via the Exchange without a massive effort on my part, so I definitely wanted to say a huge ‘thank you’ for that!

    • Thanks for this lovely message. I’m so happy to have given you ideas for fun things to do with your game, and flattered that you consider me a great builder! I know what you mean about getting impatient to play: even though I love to build, I’m starting to feel that way about BB! I think I’m about a third of the way through now.

  3. if you remodeling HS you might want to take a look at the lots the DNA team made for me… a new town center, a festival lot and next door farm… also I uploade a few lots I changed.

    • Thanks Anette! I’m not re-doing all of HS: I just got distracted when I loaded it up to make you that home, and ending up making over a few sims! I’ll be sure to check out the DNA lots next time I send my legacy family there on vacation to HS though. Happy Simming! xxx

  4. GC I know your in BB … was mostly thinking of misslcd467
oh yes perfect for vaction… if you hve the festival lot you could take the next door house and use as vacation home…. and then Sandraelle have a roloercoaster that would fit perfectly on some other lot….
    I know about getting distracted….
