Shown at 53 Rock Pool Park, this contemporary home features one-car carport, open plan living/dining/kitchen areas, 4 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, with interiors in blues, greens, and neutrals. Out back, there’s a rock climbing wall and a herb garden, where you’ll find ginseng (for energy), lavender (for restful sleep), liquorice (to stave off hunger), basil, (for career and opportunity success), and buzzberry (for athleticism), as well as porcinis and plasma fruit.Â
First thing I noticed was the configuration of the breakfast bar! I have made one with a 90 degree angle but yours is ever so much more creative! Love the look of the exterior of the house. You must have so much fun with your families, the back stories are fabulous. I think you mentioned that you are sharing with us your own game play up to the point of posting. My stories seem to pale in comparison but they’re my Simmies and if I get a little over exuberant by creating families of 8 at least it keeps me on my toes. I’ve never sent one of my young adult Sims to University, does the remainder of the family stay the way they are until that sim returns? I’m concerned that if the rest of the family continues on they could do things that I would rather they didn’t. LOL Although I’m not a control freak (have them on high will) I don’t want to miss anything that becomes part of their lives. Thanks for continuing to share…I’m going to put your house and family in my favourites until such time as I can download them! All the best, Glorygal

Thanks for this! *hugs*
Glad you like the breakfast bar. I thought it would be fiddly, but it wasn’t at all.
Yes, it’s sort of my own game-play. I only really properly play my legacy family, and just leave the rest to Nraas SP. Then when it’s time to upload the family and/or build them a home, I take a look at whatever SP has done and say, ‘okay, how do I straighten all this out into biographies?’ I’ve checked in with (and ‘fixed’) Annie’s branch of the family three times now, which is why she has a longer story than some of my other sims.
The university world works the same way WA worlds do. It’s a subhood; everything in the main neighbourhood pauses while you’re controlling your university sim. You cannot switch back to your main family until it’s time to travel back from university (after 1 or 2 weeks, depending on what you choose), but the sims at home won’t age (your university sim won’t age either) or make any progress or even lose any wishes. Actually, I think they might even be still doing the same interaction they were when you left.
If you’d rather keep playing the home family at the same time as having your sim earn their degreee, there is the option to set up a home university using Nraas careers.

Annie is one of my favourite Sims of yours, I love the family rivalry between her and Franco. Gorgeous Sims with excellent back-stories as always!
Their house is absolutely stunning as well, and the landscaping is lovely. I love how it’s split over three levels, giving Athena her own space. And I’m continually amazed at how much variety you manage to bring to predominantly pale wood and shades-of-white decor, such a lovely and versatile combination in your hands.

Thanks so much! Aww, what a nice thing to say; I really like Annie too, but then I have a soft spot for sims with the grumpy trait, haha.
I’m glad the pale decor doesn’t get tedious. I worry about that sometimes, but it’s just what seems right for these kinds of coastal New England homes. Sometimes I just want to do something mad and colourful, but I try to save that for a special occasion, like for a really eccentric or playful sim.

Thanks, Anette! I hope you enjoy it 🙂 If you’re looking for another science geek house in a week or so, the Hernandez-Grey’s neighbour is a mad scientist, and I’ll be filling her home with all the science objects. I’m looking forward to it! 🙂

Another beautiful family and stunning home, loving the blue hair. 🙂 I think Athena’s bedroom is my favorite room in the house though I love the kitchen as well.

Thanks so much 🙂 I really value your opinion! Ah yes, haha, the blue hair; they get it from Susannah’s dad, (a very edited version of) Cid Severus from the university town. Happy simming xx
