Back in Sunset Valley, Naoise worked on his athletic skill, while Sara read a gardening book and planted some seeds she’d found around town. When her gardening skill is high enough, she’ll be able to plant the pomegranates and plums her sister brought back from Egypt.
Elisa threw a party on the beach.
Elisa caught up with old friends, and Naoise made a new one.
As soon as Maria’s travel moodlet expired, I had Naoise and her head off to China.
He got his first adventure from the board, to retrieve a relic from the Halls of the Lost Army.
*hums Young Indiana Jones theme*
This tomb is really small, but here’s a picture of it completed anyway: B1.
While Naoise was handing in the relic, Maria cooked their dinner.
They were joined by Maria’s friend Farouk, with whom she’d stayed in Al Simhara, and a French tourist, Cemre.
Naoise spent the next couple of days at the academy learning martial arts, so that I could focus on Maria’s photography. I saw no option to call over a ranked sparring partner, so I think the martial arts tournament might not be available until he’s an adult. [Correction: Teens can enter the tournament; they just have to wait until reaching Level 4 of the martial arts skill.]
Maria also picked some cherries and pomolos for Sara, and bought some recipe and fishing books from the market.
Naoise got an opportunity to spar twice with martial artist Shen Shen-Su. He was able to win 2-0 both times.
Shen taught him a Chinese song.
Naoise was told to medidate in the Scholar’s Garden for two hours, and then retrieve some papers from the Resolute Fist Retreat.
He navigated his way through the traps and puzzles to find the papers he needed.
