EP Legacy Gameplay 1.6

Sara was the first in this generation to become pregnant.

She and Jason were very happy.

So was Jason’s mum, Justine.

Breda grew up into a young adult and moved out. She’s in Nraas’ hands now.

Manon came over from France to stay with the family for a few days. At the end of her visit, she agreed to move in.

When it was time for Maria to travel to Egypt, Manon went with her. Maria had adventures to complete, but they made camp together every evening.

They enjoyed several romantic midnight strolls around town. One night, Maria proposed to Manon.

During the day, Manon usually went jogging. She’s athletic and will eventually be joining the military career, so the increase in her athletic skill will be very useful.

Maria had a close shave with a fire trap in the Pyramid of the Burning Sands, but was able to put herself out in time.

She harvested some flame fruits to give to Sara.

Here are the pictures of the completed tomb: 0 B1

Next, Maria was tasked with exploring Queen Hatshepsut’s secret lair, hidden under one of the houses in town.

She located the hideout, and found the key to the servant’s quarters of the Queen’s temple. This enabled her to progress with the quest chain to explore fully both the temple and the bazaar basement.

In the bazaar, she found a rusty old bath and took a much needed wash.

Maria and Manon arrived back in Sunset Valley just as Sara was going into labour.

She gave birth to a baby boy called Daniel.  I gave him the artistic and perceptive traits, and his favourites are orange, rockabilly, and goopy carbonara.

Maria presented her sister with the flame fruits she had harvested in Egypt.

Elisa visited Kristjana to tell her about her new grandson. The had a fun time gossiping and making jokes.

Kristjana’s son Jamison is now a teenager, and he has a little sister, Marianne, who seems to like to argue with herself.

By this time, Naoise was ready to travel again, so off he went to Shang Simla. His friends Biyu, Shen, and their son Manchu put him up while he was there, and each morning Biyu cooked breakfast for them all.

He spent his first few days participating in more ranked sparring matches, until he reached rank five in the martial arts tournament, completing his lifetime wish.

Thanks to his French excursion, Naoise was finally ready to explore the lower levels of the dragon cave, and do battle with the infamous Dong Huo.

He was really not happy to see a mummy shambling towards him.

But with his black belt in Sim Fu, he was able to win the fight, defeat Dong Huo, and complete the tomb: B1 B2 B3 B4

At this point, there were just a few tombs left to clean up. Naoise went through Dong Huo’s Treasure Trove, the Market Caverns, and the remainder of the Temple of Heaven, deactivating traps, discovering secrets, and collecting loot.

Here are the maps for those tombs. Dong Huo’s Treasure Trove (B1&2) and the Market Caverns (B3): B1 B2 B3. The Temple of Heaven (Pangu’s Heaven/Annexe of the Resolute Fist): B1 B2 B3 B4.

There is one site left to explore – the Tomb of the First Empower – but that requires a special quest that was just not coming up this time, so Naoise spent the rest of his vacation fishing.

  1. This almost makes me want to go hunting in the tombs again! I never got that far, but I may try. I am enjoying your stories a lot!! I know it takes a lot of time, and it’s appreciated. Happy simming!! ♥

    • I’m glad you’re enjoying it! I think the tombs can be a lot of fun, especially the larger, more complex, more dangerous ones. They’re not usually a huge focus for me but can be a nice thing to play through every now and then 🙂

  2. Sorry I haven’t commented your last few EP Legacy posts, i’ve just been catching up on everything and can see you ‘ve been very busy! I’m really enjoying this World Adventures ‘chapter’, particularly because I can see how it would fit in with regular gameplay. since I don’t use mods I’ve always seen travelling to the WA worlds as almost a side-bar to my normal gameplay. I’m definitely inspired to take my sims travelling much more often – it’s great to see how it can enhance normal gameplay.
it’s nice to see the girls settling down and finding love. Baby Daniel is very cute, although Sara and Jason have very good genes to pass along so I suppose it’s not such a surprise!
Elisa and Kristjana look great as elders too – it’s nice to catch a glimpse of some of the Sims from the Base Game chapter.

    • That’s so great! I hope you have lots of fun in the WA worlds 🙂
It was nice for me to catch up with Kristjana too. One disadvantage of this EP-focused legacy is not being able to spend much time just hanging out with last generation’s sims, so I always try to use the days when the others in the household are recovering from travel to control Elisa for a little while. Happy Simming!

  3. I am loving seeing every bit of your game play. You take the most amazing screenshots, you would be amazing at advertising for games. You are really inspiring me to get back into world adventures. I never did explore the tombs all that much i mostly just went sight seeing, learned martial arts and my sim fell in love with a local sim. Where did you get that fancy tent? Don’t think I have seen that one before. Sara and Jason are such a cute couple. 🙂

  4. Yay, Sara and Jason had a baby! I’m happy for Maria and Manon, too. I wasn’t sure what would happen since Manon lived in France. How lovely to see Naoise run into Biyu in China. I have fond memories of her love affair with Aiden in my baby challenge.

    • Yes, on with the next generation 🙂

It’s always funny seeing premades in other people’s games! When university first shipped, I had my main sim marry Alison Kramer, and now I get confused whenever she shows up in pictures of Let’s Plays xx
