EP Legacy Gameplay 8.9

On our second Love Day, Spencer and Shanon got married. I had them throw the wedding party in the morning, to allow the other couples some time alone together in the afternoon and evening.

After the ceremony, Nipunus and Enza had another go at the Spring festival dance contest, while Selina and Blaine enjoyed a picnic at Gypsy’s Landing.

Selina and Enza both had some exciting news to share.

Marty stayed the night with his friends, Brook and Jeannie Loveland-Timbley. He gets on especially well with Jeannie (the one with darker hair) because they share the athletic trait.

In the early hours of the morning, Shanon aged up.

Nathan soon did too, becoming a child and earning the kleptomaniac trait.

Given our track record this generation, I was kind of expecting Selina and Enza to go into labour at his birthday party, but it wasn’t until the following evening that their contractions began. It turns out that simultaneous childbirth is pretty funny.

Here are Cassidy Holcomb-Hai and Q’oro Michaels-Ne’Xafughos. She rolled loner and athletic, and he rolled loner and loves the cold.

Cassidy’s big brother made some new friends,  Alexandria Crumplebottom-Hennessey and Sarah’s granddaughter, Lacie Kerman-Durelli. They are all artistic. I wish we had something like TS4 Get Together’s group system so that I could have them set up a little art club.

On the last day of Spring, Marty became a teenager. His traits are now good, perfectionist, ambitious, and athletic.

    • They must have woohooed at exactly the same time, which I guess make sense since my sims tend all to go to bed at the same time. It was pretty funny because they kept alternating between experiencing contractions and freaking out about the other one’s.

I’m definitely grateful for those swings! They make childcare a breeze.

  1. What a beautiful day for Spencer and Shanon’s wedding! The picture of them slow dancing is gorgeous, I love it when they do that ‘dip’ move.

Also had a bit of a giggle when I saw the photo of Nipunus talking to Enza’s belly – when I scrolled quickly through the photos, it kind of looks like he’s grabbing her breast!!

Baby Q’oro is very colourful – what a nice mix of her parents’ skin tones!

    • Aw, thank you! Yes, the slow dancing is so romantic.

Haha, yeah, I noticed that too. Maybe he’s just really excited that they’ve grown with her pregnancy…since it’s the men who have the babies back home and all.

  2. Oh man I have so much to get caught up on. I have never had two sims go into labor at the same time before in game I swear that should be an achievement lol. I really love the slow dance interaction so much, especially for weddings and romantic dinners it just makes for such wonderful moments and screenshots. 🙂 The picture with Enza holding Q’oro Is such a sweet mother daughter moment. 🙂

    • Yeah, I made a lot of posts! I hope you enjoy reading them 🙂 I’ve slowed down a bit over the last couple of weeks though.

The double labour happens quite a lot to me because, unless they’re out at a party or club or working late, my sims tend to go to bed at the same time, which means they woohoo at the same time. It’s quite funny watching two sims freak out about one other giving birth.

Aw, I love the slow dance interaction too. So romantic 🙂
